• A Pet Lover's Guide

If you have a dog there are many things you can do together around the city of Bloomington as well some of the surrounding lakes in the area.  There are off the Leash Dog Parks in the area as well as the one located at the Woods at Latimer, such as the Griffy Lake Nature Preserve Dog Park, the Ferguson Dog Park, and the Karst Farm Dog Park which requires you to register and pay an annual fee for 2 separate areas, one for larger dogs and one for smaller dogs.
There are a few Pet Friendly Restaurants and stores in our area as well , but things change from time to time so it’s best if you call ahead to make sure that they still allow pets at their establishment.

Bruster's Real Ice Cream: free 'doggie sundaes' for your furry friend
Oliver Winery:  They have beautifully landscaped grounds with a pond and picnic tables. Tables and chairs are located on our arbor-covered patio and deck. Pets are allowed on the grounds on a leash but are not allowed in the tasting room.
Bloomington Hardware Store: They keep treats behind the counter just for your furry friends
Scenic View Restaurant:  Outdoor seating for you and your leashed dog
